We Went down to Burnside for Whacks 58th Birthday this March. Normally we don't get down for Birthdays but we were off from the flea market and have been wanting to go down to visit.

Brakes Bonfire & New Grill

We talked Whack into getting a new grill so we could grill out some pork chops mom bought for supper Saturday night. It took quite awhile to get the grill put together. Never seen so many parts and screws LOL!

TRYING TO GET THE SATURDAY NIGHT BONFIRE STARTED

BONE LICK STATE PARK UNION, KENTUCKY

Was itching to get out on this nice weekend! So we headed out to Big Bone Lick State Park in Union Kentucky. We have camped there once before for a weekend but that has been about 15 years or so ago, so thought we would check it out and see if there are any new things to see.
We ate lunch in the picnic area by the historical houses (see pic) then headed up to see the buffalo exhibit. Walked back a very muddy but easy trail. We didn't get up as close as we would have liked, it was just way too muddy.
