We have been trying to go to IceFest in Hamilton Ohio for the past three years. It seemed that every year the weather was just so bad to go. Well this year it was in the 50's so we headed out the door. January 20th was my birthday and this is what I picked to do and I wasn't disappointed at all! But I ended up wishing that is was a little colder because the poor sculptures where melting quickly and they were unable to put out quite a few of them because they would melt before the people that were planning on coming the next day.

There were over 150 of them and they were beautiful, and well worth the trip up to Hamilton Ohio. Can't wait to check it out again next year. Here are a few of the many pictures that I took with my new camera!

Happy New Year 2006!

Another year has gone by! Seems like it has gone by so quickly. I kinda wonder if the older you get the faster time flies! We had our best friends Ron and Denise Evans over last night for New Years. You would think there was going to be 12 of us instead of 4 with all the food we had on the table. We played alot of Uno and Phase 10 both are card games. I am going to have to look into some of the newer card games that are out there to see if I can come across something different for next year.
This New Years Day morning finds me with another head cold (which I have been fighting for the past week) and a small hangover LOL. Hey, had to have a few beers last night even with taking that NiteQuil! Geez, you think the older you get the smarter you get LOL!
Dennis is out in the kitchen frying some sausage for breakfast this morning. Normally that sounds good but I guess with the cold not much sounds appealing this morning. The plans for today is to sit back, take it easy and watch the Cincinnati Bengals play the Kansas City Chiefs. I do feel the urge to get up and get started decluttering the house.... nah... not today! LOL!
