3 Months & So Much Has Happened
Seems weird that today is 3 months to the day that I have posted in our blog. For some reason it just popped into my head that I haven't been here for awhile.
Three months and so much has happened. In September we lost our dog Katie suddenly and a few weeks later Abby has come into our lives to try to heal our broken hearts. She is approx 9 months old now and was a stray running the streets. Its been a long time since we have had a "pup" and boy our patience runs thin! I can tell tho that she is going to be a great dog someday! Just hope that day comes quickly cause we can't afford to buy new furniture! Abby is part beagle and blue tick hound. She is completly opposite of Katie. Abby is very friendly, outgoing, loves every person and dog she sees! She plays really well with her cousins Brutus and Ginger. She will be going to Kentucky with us for Christmas this year which should make for an interesting few days.
The end of October, I lost my Uncle Ralph. It was very sudden and very unexpected. Dennis was also very close to him. We live next door to him and my aunt. He has been my father figure for the past years and I guess Dennis's father figure also. He is missed so very much. I miss his sense of humor. Even tho he had a gruff exterior at times we all new how much we were loved by him. Because of his loss the holidays just don't seem the same at all.
For the first time in 21 years Dennis and I haven't put up our large Christmas display. The cost, time it takes and its getting harder on Dennis is why we made our decision that we will no longer be putting it up. So, we have been taking a few items to the flea market weekly to try to get rid of them.
We are still at the flea market weekly. We have moved in now and rented a small space next to Robert and Eythel, (the same people we were next to outside) Even tho we enjoy going every week I wonder how much longer we will be doing it after xmas is over. Just depends on how much we make this month I guess.
Well I think I have now caught up on the news. Am going to try to add a few pictures and hope to come back more often. Hopefully next time with better news.
