Saying Goodbye To Our Girl Katie

On Sunday September 3rd 2006 we lost our Katie. Katie was our 7 year old German Shephard mixed dog. Being as Den and I don't have children Katie was our "baby" On the previous Friday morning Katie passed out after going outside for her morning "checking out the yard" Dennis rushed her to the hospital where we found out she had tumor that slit open in her spleen. After surgery Katie never "came out of it" and would never have been our ole Katie and she was in so much pain that we made the very hard decision to put her to sleep.
I always said that I thought she was the smartest dog we have ever had. You could spell B A L L or P L A Y and she would know exactly what you where saying. What a great joy she was to Dennis and I. She loved to go go go! weather it be camping or just to go to the store to get the Sunday paper every Sunday with "Daddy" she was right by our side.
Katie girl, you will be missed, more then you will ever know.
